This Friday, November 2, reports The Dauphiné liberated, one of the victims of a shooting which took place the day before in Ardèche has died.
According to the newspaper, “the Privas public prosecutor's office has just communicated sad news. Nicolas, a young 22-year-old Rugby player, player in the flag team at the Rugby club Romanais-Péageois (RCRP), died on Saturday, November 2, early in the afternoon as a result of his injuries.”
This rugby club was that of young Thomas, who died a year ago in Crépol, as confirmed by a press release from the club, published on Facebook around 6 p.m.: “The club has been hit in the heart again since Thursday evening. Nicolas, Kolbe, Nico, the princess and many other nicknames have just left us in terrible circumstances. We are once again devastated and send our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones”
The newspaper recalls the circumstances of this shooting on 1is November: young Nicolas “had been shot in the head while waiting to enter the Saint Péray nightclub, Le Seven, during a Halloween party.”
The shooting left two other victims: a 25-year-old woman, shot in the leg, and a 22-year-old security guard at the establishment. They were transported to Valencia hospital.
The shooter is still actively sought.
Reactions of right-wing elected officials from the territory of Nicolas and Thomas
Several local right-wing elected officials immediately reacted, such as Thibaut Monnier, deputy for Drôme (IDL, Marion Maréchal's party) from the constituency where Crépol is located.
The LR mayor of Romans-sur-Isère, Marie-Hélène Thoraval, also reacted.
