The community council met on Wednesday 30 in the socio-cultural room of Saint-André-de-Majencoules.
Although the agenda contained less than fifteen points, the presentations and explanations did not require much debate.
Starting with the presentation by Sandrine Garmath and Clément Graffouillère, agents of the community of municipalities in charge of the economic and tourist development sector.
Sandrine Garmath reminds the board of the essential points to approve: “The development plan for the call for projects for the 4 seasons nature center is coming to an end. It is based on two projects: the reconversion of Prat Peyrot into a nature center by 2030 and its alignment with current challenges, in particular climate change, eight strategic axes have been identified to carry out this project: structuring the tourist destination, the sports tourism sector, evolution of practices, qualification of reception in a natural environment, promotion of the discovery of the territory, development of the mobility strategy, professionalization of the economic sector and enhancement of the cultural offer”. The council voted favorably for the plan presented.
The aid of €20,000 requested by Alti-Aigoual is not granted
Given the financial difficulties encountered by the DSP Alti Aigoual, the latter made a request for exceptional aid to the community of municipalities. The elected officials, after discussions, decided to respond to the company by means of a letter reporting on the aid and advances of public money from which it has benefited since 2021. Taking into account the significant amounts advanced, since the purchase of the first VAE, the three years of rental cancellation, the four ONF royalties, the financing of the equipment for the children's rope net, up to the advance made for electricity, the council decides to continue to help the DSP in the payment of rents and royalties, but does not respond favorably to the request for exceptional aid of €20,000.
The presentation of the Illiwap application which allows you to inform, alert and create a link between elected officials and residents, the awarding of contracts for works and for the water and agriculture strategy, the decision to abandon catchment du Mazel, the additional subsidy allocated to the Mont Aigoual Vélo club and the HR points preceded the few miscellaneous questions before the closing of the session by President Gilles Berthézène.
