Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his North Korean counterpart, Choe Son Hui, met in Moscow this Friday 1is November 2024, reports theAFP.
A meeting which comes as rumors of the sending of North Korean soldiers to Russian troops in Ukraine are confirmed and worry the West.
North Korea alongside Russia until “its victory” in Ukraine
Ties between North Korea and Russia have strengthened, particularly since the start of the war in Ukraine. The two countries concluded a mutual defense agreement in June.
In Moscow, the North Korean Foreign Minister reaffirmed her support. “There is no doubt that under the wise leadership of the distinguished Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Russian army and people will achieve a great victory, assured Choe Son Hui, according to a Russian translation of his remarks reported by theAFP. We reaffirm that we will always stand firmly alongside our Russian comrades until Victory Day. »
