A traffic accident occurred this Thursday, early in the evening, shortly before 9 p.m., on the road from Vendinelle to Salvetat-Lauragais, in the south-east of Toulouse. A vehicle, the only one involved, hit a plane tree before stopping in a ditch.
This car rolled over several times. Three people were treated by firefighters from the Haute-Garonne departmental fire and rescue service.
A 45-year-old woman, a passenger in the back of the car, was seriously injured. In an absolute emergency, she was treated on site by the Smur 31 medical team before being evacuated. Hospitalized at Purpan hospital, this woman's state of health remains worrying this Friday morning.
The driver, a 32-year-old man, and another passenger, aged 31, were also injured and treated by firefighters. The first assessments concerning these two men were more reassuring.
Four engines and thirteen firefighters were deployed to the scene of the accident. The gendarmes secured the area and carried out on-site surveys and observations. An investigation is open.
