The Department of Var affirms its innovation policy by launching the first edition of the Innovation and Research Prize. « It aims to encourage the development of innovative projects in the fields of technological, social or environmental innovation », Indicates the community in a press release.
Among these areas, we can cite:
- the development of new products or services specific to the communityArtificial Intelligence (AI) serving the Var population;
- the preservation of the environmentthe promotion of sustainable developmente, the fight against climate change ;
- the social well-being, inclusion, solidaritythe development of silver economy…
Five innovation prizes awarded in the spring
Note that a project can fall into several areas. Students, communities, players in the social and solidarity economy, associations and even researchers have until December 31 to submit their application, via an online form or by email to the address [email protected].
The jury composed of departmental advisors, including the president of the Department, Jean-Louis Masson, university representatives and Var personalities from technological and environmental fields, will deliberate at the beginning of 2025. The results will be revealed in spring 2025 and the five prizes awarded (technological, environmental, social innovation, gender equality and jury's favorite) at that time.
