Sun, good humor, a shared meal and a most successful organization: at the Pondres farm, on June 1st, the spring festival took place. It was also Garden Day, established by the Ministry of Culture. On this occasion, the Art païs association opened its doors to families wishing to share a few hours of relaxation, friendly and rural among sheep, a frog pond, a boat or even a caravan. Giant games, such as mikado, marmoset, Tower of Babel, tug of war or parachute, delighted the children. A pottery exhibition was also held during the courses, marked by its originality and quality of execution. Furthermore, the association received students from the Les Genêts school in the town, as well as residents of Terres d’Alice in Saint-Dionisy. She introduced them to the discovery of nature and aromatic plants. “We are very satisfied with these intergenerational meetings”, said Elisabeth Crès, the president, and Christiane Vidal, who welcomed the participants. The nearby summer holidays are already scheduled: from July 8 to 12, and from July 15 to 19, for the day or week, storytelling, painting and theater are planned.
