Cn Sunday afternoon, Standard traveled to Antwerp. In the game Standard was quite good, they even dominated during the first half hour but it was Antwerp who opened the scoring just before half-time. On a cross from Tjaronn Chery, Vincent Janssen was forgotten behind the defense to deceive Mathieu Epolo (45th, 1-0)

The Liégeois once again dominated for 20 minutes after leaving the locker room. Andi Zeqiri even thought he had equalized but his goal was canceled for offside, confirmed by the VAR (49th). The Liégeois were not rewarded and it was ultimately the ‘Great Old’ who doubled the lead with Janssen and Chery who reversed the roles. The first served the second which mystified Epolo before sending the ball into the empty goal despite a rescue attempt from Bosko Sutalo (64th, 2-0). Ondrejka made the score 3-0 with a penalty scored in two stages.

Standard had the opportunity to do the right thing and eject Anderlecht from the Top 6 in the event of a victory, but it will not happen. The Rouches remain stuck in 9th place.
