Free and open to all, the event aims to be both fun and friendly, co-organized in Figeac by a local network of game enthusiasts of all kinds. It is located at Place des Droits de l’Enfant (between the pedestrian bridge and the kindergarten). Board games, board games and party games are offered for ages 10 and up, with no age limit, hosted by Les Enjouées and La Cazelle aux Jeux. In the shade of the neighboring trees, the Partir Federation toy library offers oversized wooden games, construction games, board games dedicated to under 10s, and symbolic games. In another register, the Opal Legion presents an entire fantastical and medieval universe intended for role-playing and war game enthusiasts.
Skill and pre-sports games (Breton puck, ping-pong, mölkky, darts, etc.) are also included with the activities of the Intercommunal Youth Space. The little ones have a designated and secure space in the kindergarten, complete with some games suitable for under 5s (construction, drawing, reading, etc.), run by the Social and Prevention Center and ASSMAT Synergie. “La p’tit Valise” is joining forces with this event with games of all kinds.

This games festival is an opportunity to take a break with family and friends, to have fun, take advantage of the present time, and discover the different games on offer. The Quercy Afrik and ASSMAT Synergie associations cook sweet and savory dishes for the catering section, on site, all day (snack included). The Collectif de la Fête du Jeu thanks the Figeac tennis club for making its clubhouse available. The organizers are hoping for a large audience, while of course counting on the presence of the sun on this first weekend of June.
In the event of rain, the World Games Festival moves to the Champollion gymnasium, from 1 p.m.
