A fire broke out on Saturday October 26, 2024, shortly after 4 p.m., in a farmhouse, divided into several dwellings, in Loudéac (Côtes-d’Armor).
Neighbors alerted by screams
The fire started in the dining room of the house. Burned on the stomach and legs, a 57-year-old woman was airlifted to the Yves-Le-Foll hospital center in Saint-Brieuc.
It was the neighbors, alerted by the woman’s cries, who intervened to get the victim out.
Arriving shortly after, the firefighters managed to contain the fire in thirty minutes, using a hose. Inside the home, the fire also caused significant damage.

In total, seven emergency vehicles, including around twenty firefighters, a Smur vehicle and the Loudéac gendarmerie brigade were on site.
