Serious incidents occurred Tuesday evening during the women's Volleyball match between Vandoeuvre-Nancy and Chamalières. Racist remarks or cries were indeed made in the stands against certain Auvergne players.
These acts logically led to the match being temporarily stopped and were notified by the referees. The VBC Chamalières and the Vandoeuvre-Nancy VB must also provide a handrail.

“The club strongly condemns this intolerable behavior which goes against our values of respect, inclusion and sportsmanship,” writes the VNVB in a press release. “We are in the process of identifying the individuals responsible and drastic measures will be taken, including their permanent exclusion from the club's facilities.”
