This Monday, October 21, around 6:30 a.m., a tragic incident occurred in the Laneuveville-devant-Nancy station area, causing a major disruption to SNCF traffic arriving and departing from Nancy.

Train traffic was interrupted, causing significant delays.
Regional express trains (TER) suffered delays of 30 to 50 minutes. Travelers on board a train stopped between Nancy and Varangéville were transported to their destination by coach and taxi. High-speed trains (TGV) experienced delays of 30 to 60 minutes, being forced to take a conventional track, preventing them from traveling at high speed.

The SNCF announced a gradual resumption of traffic from 9:45 a.m. All traffic should return to normal before noon. The exact circumstances of the incident remain to be determined. A man was hit and killed by a train and unfortunately died.
