100% Girondins, Yon Ecenarroradio consultant, looked back on the Girondins de Bordeaux season. This season is catastrophic, you have to call a spade a spade.

We have 14 wins, 9 draws, 15 losses. 50 goals scored, 52 conceded. 50 points in 38 games, so that’s an average of 1.32 per game. So we are 9 points from relegation, 9 points from the play-offs. This is the first time that the Girondins are not the leading regional football club in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, since FC Pau finishes in front. This is the worst season since the 1938-1939 season. We finished 11th. You can’t say you don’t belong when we’ve just released all these elements. You are 12th in the championship with the results announced. It was a season, I’m not going to say that it’s hell, because we’re going to wait to see what the DNCG will give… But we’ve never been this low, and it hurts.”
