Skoda Kodiaq plug-in hybrid: 150 km all-electric

Already available in gasoline and diesel, the second generation Skoda Kodiaq integrates, under the hood, a plug-in hybrid engine for the first time. Thus, the block 1.5 TSI petrol 150 hp is coupled to a motor 54 horsepower electric.
All for one power cumulative 204 hp. This version, shared by several models in the Volkswagen group, such as the new Tiguan, is associated with a 6-speed DSG double-clutch gearbox.
Its battery, with a capacity of 25.7 kWh, allows it toachieve up to 124 km of all-electric range in mixed use according to the WLTP cycle. And even up to 149 km in the cityaccording to Skoda.
Recharging takes place from 10 to 80% in less than 30 minutes at a fast terminal (50 kW), direct current. With alternating current, recharging from 0 to 100% takes place in 2h30 (11 kW).
Finally, on the performance side, the 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 8.4 seconds (instead of 9.7 s for 150 hp gasoline and diesel). And the maximum speed reaches 210 km/h.

A single finish and a price beyond 50,000 euros

The plug-in hybrid Skoda Kodiaq is not only available with one finish : Selection. It is not available, for the moment, only in five places. Enough to offer it good habitability. Her trunk volume is understood between 745 liters (5 places) and [1945literswhen the rear seat is folded down. In comparison, non-PHEV versions offer a volume ranging from 910 to 2105 liters.

Finally, the first deliveries of this plug-in hybrid Kodiaq will take place in July.
