VIDEO – The IDF broadcast a short video this Thursday, October 17, which it presents as the last images of Yahya Sinwar.

The Israeli army released this Thursday, October 17, 2024, a short video filmed by a drone. The images show a very weakened man whom the IDF presents as Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, just before he was killed in a military operation in Gaza. In the center of a gutted living room, a visibly injured man sits on the first floor of a partially destroyed building. The figure has his face hidden by a fabric that could be a keffiyeh. The one who appears to be Sinwar in his final moments before his “elimination”has in his hand an object resembling a saber, which he throws towards the drone.

Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, a spokesman for the Israeli army, said on Thursday that the Hamas leader had been killed in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip). “Yesterday in Tel Sultan in Rafah, Yahya Sinouar was eliminated by army fighters”he declared in a televised statement, “The army and Shabak (domestic intelligence) operated for months to provide intelligence to eliminate Yahya Sinouar, the leader of Hamas, the terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip, and one of the founders of the “the military wing of Hamas, which planned and executed the October 7 return massacre.”
