6 Kings Slam > Becker, ahead of the match between Nadal and Alcaraz: “Rafa plays well against Carlos. A fun game to watch so far”

At the Saudi exhibition “6 Kings Slam” in Riyadh, Rafael Nadal made one of his last appearances on court as an active professional player.

Directly qualified for the semi‐finals (just like Novak Djokovic who lost against Jannik Sinner), Rafael Nadal faces this Thursday evening his compatriot, Carlos Alcaraz, who defeated Holger Rune the day before.

And despite a break conceded at the start, the man with 14 Roland‐Garros titles gained momentum without nevertheless managing to get by in the first set (6−3 in favor of Alcaraz with a second service game lost by Rafa at 3–5).

“Rafa plays well against Carlos. A fun game to watch so far »nevertheless underlined the legend Boris Becker on X.

Absent since the Olympic Games at the end of July, Nadal is therefore making a good impression for the moment, he who will end his career during the final stages of the Davis Cup in Malaga, from November 19 to 24.

Note that the winner of this Spanish duel will challenge Jannik Sinner in the final on Saturday evening, with $6 million at stake, while the loser will meet Novak Djokovic for the “small final”.
