He claims that North Korea is preparing to send 10,000 soldiers to fight alongside Russian troops on Ukrainian soil.
“We know that there are about 10,000 troops that North Korea is preparing to send to fight against us. This is the first step towards a world war”he declared.
The Ukrainian president also claims to have information from his intelligence services according to which North Korean officers are already present in Ukraine. A few days ago, Volodymyr Zelensky had already claimed that Pyongyang was supplying soldiers and ammunition to Russia.
Information denied by Moscow, which also rejects the peace plan, the broad outlines of which were revealed by President Zelensky on Wednesday in Kyiv.
On the ground, Russian soldiers continue to advance against understaffed Ukrainian troops. This Thursday, the Russian army claimed the capture of a new village, that of Maksymilianivka, located in the Donetsk region.
