Liam Payne has died after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina. It’s unclear whether or not the fall was intentional, according to TMZ.
It all happened around 5 p.m. while Liam Payne was staying on the 3rd floor of the CasaSur Palermo hotel.
Witnesses at the scene mention that Liam seemed angry a few minutes before the death. He allegedly smashed his laptop before being escorted to his hotel room. His death occurred within minutes.
The police immediately covered the singer’s body with a red tent, but TMZ published photos where Liam Payne’s tattoos are clearly visible.
He was in Argentina as One Direction’s Niall Horan is currently performing a series of shows in South America. Payne was also seen at Niall’s concert.
Still according to TMZ, Liam Payne would have been at the center of an argument with his ex-fiancee Maya Henry for a few days. he allegedly asked her to abort.
This story is really sad. You can think what you want about One Direction, but the group was one of the most influential of its generation. He was only 31 years old. RIP.
