The announcement had the effect of shock waves. English singer Liam Payne died this Wednesday, October 16 after falling from the third floor of a building in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The former One Direction member was 31 years old. In a press release relayed by the local press, the police specified that it was a hotel located in Palermo, a district of the capital.
On his Snapchat account, Liam Payne published, an hour before the announcement of his death, numerous photos of his escapade in South America. In a selfie, he notably commented “Beautiful day in Argentina” before posing with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy. Everything suggests that it was an accident.

The musician presented “very serious injuries following his fall, we pronounced him dead, there was no possibility of resuscitation,” declared the head of emergencies, Alberto Crescenti, on local television. Arriving seven minutes later, a team “found this man dead and later we discovered that he was a singer in a group”.
