A little over three years ago, Me François Saint-Pierre took a calculated risk in the columns of “Soir mag”, hoping that the “investigations will conclude quickly”. He wanted “the truth for 2021 or even 2022, a trial and an established crime scene”. On the 40th anniversary of little Grégory’s death, we reminded one of the lawyers for the victim’s parents, Jean-Marie and Christine Villemin, of his daring position in 2021. “So, I am going to be much more careful today, since at the end of 2024, we are still at the same point”says the one who has represented the couple for seven years. He continues: “Our determination remains intact. What is important, any projection of date now ruled out, is that we want the truth. Jean-Marie and Christine are not looking for revenge, a guilty person at all costs, a scapegoat.
