The radio studio of the Rémi-Belleau high school in Nogent-le-Rotrou (Eure-et-Loir) will be completely calm, Monday October 14, 2024at 6:59 a.m.… before the big jump into a new radio week. The ninth for Radio2B.

“This is the first time that we have had such difficulty filling in the program schedule,” says Cédric Hounsou, professor of economic and social sciences, and founder of the radio with Jonathan Guyot, professor of life sciences and the earth.

Not for lack of emissions, quite the contrary… “There were so many ideas and shows that we had to reduce the slots from 15 to 10 minutes to satisfy everyone! »

More than 150 broadcasts and 37 hours live for high school radio

On the program, more than 150 flashes, interviewsgames, chronicles and discussions, with local guests and prestigious, Monday to Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday until 5 p.m., broadcast on 101 FMfor 37 hours of live broadcast in total.

Also a multitude of specialized programs on this year’s theme: journalism in the world.

Each day is divided into three distinct parts, for different atmospheres.

First the morning7 a.m. to 9 a.m., rebroadcast from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., focused on newssketches, for a gentle awakening.

Then the midingfrom 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with deeper emissionsinterviews, rebroadcast between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Finally, the soiringfrom 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and rebroadcast until 11 p.m., with games, lighter topicsto end the day in a more relaxing atmosphere.

During each rebroadcast period, we take the opportunity to practice before going live. It also allows us to have an outside opinion for last-minute corrections.

A professionalization of radio

During these 37 hours of live broadcast, more than 200 students will go behind the microphones, including twenty-two from the Le Champ du Soleil primary school in Champrond-en-Perchet and thirteen from the Pierre-Brossolette college in Nogent-le-Rotrou. Two establishments that are members of Radio2B.

You also have to count on many students to technologywithout whom this week could not exist.

To make this week go as smoothly as possible, the radio club has thought about several rules.

In addition to the numerous animators who will punctuate the different parts of a day, reference students will be present in the studio to supervise the animators and ensure the smooth running of the program.

Et technical referents will also be present to guide the technicians and advise newbies.

Prestigious guests

If many broadcasts will then have to be held over 10 minutes, other passages can be done over longer periods, in particular during interviews with guests.

Among others, there will be the arrival of Alex Taylor, journalist, Franco-British radio and television host and sponsor of this edition. But also an interview with Jean-Philippe Agresti, rector of the Centre-Val de academic region, Damien Fleurot, deputy editor-in-chief of the political department of TF1-LCI, Miske Alhaouthou, head chef, andOlivier Cornetmanager of the company Produits-privées.com in Nogent.

Other programs with Anaïs Leclerc, from the La Place bookstore, in Nogent, and the association Lochna_en_4Lwho will participate in the 4L Trophy.

A new site for Radio2B

37 hours of live and as many rebroadcasts to listen to on 101 FM or directly on the new Radio2B website.

“We no longer wanted Radio2B to be solely attached to the Rémi-Belleau high school site, but to have its own identity,” explains Cédric Hounsou.

A more practical site that will be scalable, in which you can find podcasts, photos, radio posters.

For the record, this is the poster for James Leca which was selected for this edition. A few years ago, it was her big sister who created the poster for radio week.
