On the night of Thursday to Friday, the mountain bike Super Bowl made its comeback with the very first final open to women after 17 editions exclusively reserved for men, who will set off this Saturday, October 12 from 6 p.m. h, French time.
23 years already since the Rampage has made us shiver. Its outcome is always full of surprises, but its rhythm is almost immutable. Each rider has four days to draw and shape their lines with the help of their team. The format of the competition remains the same: each rider performs two runs and will be ranked according to their best score.
This year’s edition promises to be exciting with the return of Brandon Semenuk, who has no fewer than four victories and six podiums in 11 appearances. Seven drivers were automatically prequalified based on their ranking last year. They are joined by 11 wildcards, chosen by a committee of former riders, judges and experts in the discipline.
