10 h 05. This is one of the usual images from the Rendezvous of history. Before the ballet of visitors, it’s time for that of… tow trucks, responsible for transporting vehicles parked near Place de la République to the impound, despite the ban introduced every year.

Like every year, the tow trucks had to do their job to exfiltrate troublesome parked vehicles.

10 h. The 27e edition of the Rendez-vous de l’histoire is held in Blois, from October 9 to 13. The theme this year: the city.

While trains from drop off festival-goers at Blois station, they do not all have the same strategy for reaching the grain market. While some decided to go on foot, others opted for the shuttle service. Three buses leaving from the bus station, the Jeu de Paume, and the exhibition center transport visitors throughout the day. “Oh, is it free? It’s so rare”appreciated two festival-goers as they entered the station shuttle.
