The Texan preparer Hennessey is known for launching high-performance versions of several models, but, above all, of vehicles from the manufacturer Ford. Hennessey Performance likes to transform Ford Mustangs and F-150 pickup trucks.
He does it again with the introduction of VelociraptorR 1000, a supercharged version of the most recent generation F-150 Raptor. This conversion includes multiple mechanical modifications that provide a power increase of nearly 40%. According to Hennessey, the VelociraptorR 1000’s approximate power output is 1,028 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque, making it one of the most capable pickup trucks the company has ever developed. It can literally tear up the asphalt while its high-performance exhaust lets its V8 engine roar.
The same 5.2 liter V8 engine, but highly modified
With extensive experience in Raptor model modifications, this new car applies all the knowledge acquired over the years. The 5.2-liter V8 engine has been highly modified; it includes a new high flow 3.8 liter positive displacement compressor, a real monster. Other modifications include a reinforced compressor belt, improved fuel lines, an air/oil separator system, as well as a new engine management calibration. In terms of performance, it can sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers/hour in around 3.1 seconds, a time that few sports cars can boast of offering. Same thing with the quarter mile which can be completed in just 11.4 seconds.
The car also benefits from several modifications in terms of comfort, appearance and capacity, notably with ground clearance raised by 3 inches. It offers VelociRaptor front and rear bumpers, Hennessey all-terrain wheels and tires, power retractable running boards, and a 3-year/60,000-kilometer warranty.

The vehicle joins 3 other exceptional pickup trucks produced by the tuner, namely the Hennessey VelociRaptoR 6×6, also based on the F-150, the Ram TRX Mammoth 1000 as well as the GMC Sierra Goliath 650.
