In the running for a historic treble, Bayer Leverkusen is offering its fans the chance to mark this historic season with a white stone, or rather to engrave it with black ink into their flesh, by offering them tattoos.

Undefeated in all competitions this season (49 matches, current series), Xabi Alonso’s team broke the European record for invincibility established by Benfica between 1963 and 1965 on Thursday evening, by snatching a draw against AS Roma ( 2-2) in the semi-final second leg of the Europa League, at the end of added time.

19.04% off

Already crowned German champion, and qualified for the finals of the Europa League against Atalanta Bergamo (May 22) and the German Cup against Kaiserslautern (German D2, May 25), Bayer Leverkusen offers fans “until the end of the season the possibility to choose one of the many Bayer 04 tattoos for free”.

At the head of the gondola is his midfielder Robert Andrich, who declared in April that he would find a small piece of skin still available to add a tattoo to his already impressive collection “Bundesliga champions”a press release from the club invites supporters to make an appointment “to perpetuate this unique season on your skin”offering ten free tattoo designs to choose from.

Several slots are available to get a tattoo at BayArena. The club specifies that fans who cannot obtain an appointment at the stadium will receive “a 19.04% discount off the normal price of a tattoo from a local studio”in reference to 1904, the founding date of Bayer Leverkusen.
