LIVE – Ligue 1: Brest welcomes Reims and could secure its place in the Champions League this weekend

A sold-out match on Friday May 10 at the Francis Le Blé stadium for the last home meeting of Stade Brestois. And not just any: if the Ty Zefs (3rd) win against Reims (12th) at 9 p.m., they will take one more step towards the Champions League. But the game is not won: for this 33rd and penultimate day of the Ligue 1 championship, Stade Brestois will have to do without Pierre Lees-Melou, who suffers from a fractured fibula in his right leg and will undergo surgery. Two other absentees this Friday evening: Romain Del Castillo suffers from a calf strain Kamory Doumbia who is not playing due to the loan agreement concluded between the two clubs.

European elite

Another parameter for Éric Roy’s players to secure a place in the Champions League: the Lille (4th) match on the Nantes (14th) pitch this Sunday. If Lille loses to the Canaries, Stade Brestois will be qualified for the European elite, and will be able to calmly go and play the last match of the season in Toulouse next weekend.

A match to watch live and in full on France Bleu Breizh Izel from 8:30 p.m. Match kicks off at 9 p.m.
