Sonia Mabrouk will leave CNews for a few months. She announced it on Thursday, live, at the end of the “Midi News” program that she presents on the news channel. The reason for this absence? The journalist is waiting for a happy event.
In front of her guests today, Sonia Mabrouk explained: “You will allow me a little personal message, if you agree (…) It is also with pleasure and emotion, I cannot hide it, that I will meet you in some time after maternity leave. This is happy news.”
And to continue: “I allow myself to share with you all because you are friends, relatives and with the viewers as well. A happiness, a joy which will necessarily keep me away from both TV and radio broadcasts before, I hope, seeing you again soon and fully.
Sonia Mabrouk, 47, has worked on CNews since 2017. She also works for the French radio station Europe 1. These two media belong to billionaire Vincent Bolloré.
