Fair-exhibition in Puy-en-Velay
Until Monday
Since Wednesday, the center of Puy-en-Velay has been living to the rhythm of the 39th edition of the Fair Expo. You can wander among the exhibitors, 70% of whom are local. From furniture to automobiles, from spas to motoculture, including well-being and gastronomy, there is something for everyone. In addition, numerous activities are planned until the closing of the Fair. Free admission.
Genealogy fair in Puy-en-Velay
Friday and Saturday
To mark the 80th anniversary of the Resistance, the Genealogy Fair is honoring the families of the Resistance. The exhibition will present around thirty family trees of Resistance fighters born in Haute-Loire or children of parents born in Haute-Loire and who resisted in the department in the sectors of Brioude, Yssingeaux, Le Puy and Margeride.
Historical reconstruction in Coubon
Friday and Saturday
For three years, the 8.5.45 Committee has put Coubon on the map of Armistice commemorations, with a historical reconstruction which found its audience. The 3rd edition of the historical reconstruction on the theme of “Glory” began Thursday, and will last until Saturday.
Black Festival of Velay in Monastier-sur-Gazeille

Every year for decades, breeders have organized the Noire du Velay festival. This year, this event will take place in the town of Monastier-sur-Gazeille in La Borie, Sunday May 12.
The program of celebrations will begin at 9 a.m. with a welcome to the farm by the Bonnefoy family. The start of the hike, transhumance with the sheep on a hilly terrain, is set for 9:30 a.m.

Ecurie vellave, with the support of the municipalities of Saint-Julien-Chapteuil and Saint-Pierre-Eynac, is organizing the 24th Sumène hill climb, Saturday May 11 and Sunday May 12. The tests will take place at 8 a.m., the race at 1:30 p.m. The weekend will also be an opportunity to hold the 3rd VHC edition.
Fire show in Polignac
SATURDAY
After a breathtaking show in 2019 at the Polignac fortress, the Imaziren company, crowned best company in France in the “live fire art show” category in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 by the French Federation of Fire Arts , returns to the Polignac fortress on Saturday May 11 at 9:30 p.m., with its impressive Apo G fire show.
