The violent collision occurred at 5:06 p.m. This Thursday, May 9, 2024, in Ploudaniel, four cars traveling on the RD770 leading to Lesneven collided at the place called Kerno-Bihan.
Driving 15 vehicles, 29 firefighters from Landerneau, Lesneven, Lannilis, Saint-Thégonnec and Morlaix went to the site. Under the direction of Captain Mickaël Queffeulou, from the Plouescat rescue center, they began to help the victims.
An extricated victim
This traffic accident involving nine people left eight injured, one seriously. One of the victims had to be extricated. Six of them were taken to hospitals in Landerneau and Brest (La Cavale-Blanche and Morvan). Two were seen on site. As for the last person involved, they escaped unharmed. The Brest Samu was also on site, as were the Department’s agents and the Lesneven gendarmes.
