In Scotland, a 2-year-old child saves her neighbors from a fire

“Mom, mom, fire, hot, fire, burning!” Two-year-old Alloweigh Frame saved the lives of her neighbors. The story took place in Lanark, Scotland, as Skynews explains this Thursday, May 9 – without specifying the date of the incident.

While cooking, Isla Frame, 38, was repeatedly called by her daughter as she prepared the meal. “She grabbed my jeans pocket and dragged me through the house. I looked out the window and there was smoke coming out of the windows,” explains the mother, who immediately called the fire brigade.

Initially, she thought her daughter had simply seen the fire on television. But his screams convinced her that something was wrong. “Mom, mom, fire, hot, fire, hot,” Alloweigh alerted.

“There was a gas reserve”

Firefighters, who arrived quickly on the scene, battled the flames for two hours and evacuated the two people inside the building. They are unharmed.

“There was also a gas reserve so it could have been much worse,” says Isla Frame.

“I’m super proud of her”

A representative from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said that “never in his 41-year career” had he seen someone so young report the presence of a fire. The little girl was invited to an honorary graduation at the barracks.

The mother of the young child does not hide her emotion after this significant event. “It’s crazy. I’m super proud of her,” she says.
