If Kayawoto won the Kunde for best video with singer Alif Naaba for their song “Ba yir” (homeland), the griot and Mandingo artist Djeli Karim, won the public trophy and the Kunde for the best modern song of traditional inspiration with his song “Doni Doni” (little by little).
