In the company of municipal representatives, traditional Provençal groups and Clara Crouzette, elected Miss Alès 2024, accompanied by her first runners-up Sahra Zoubaï and Angelyne Bres, the Provençal mass parade led the manadiers and spectators to the abrivados competition which takes place at 11:30 a.m.

In true spring weather, around 500 people took communion in the green theater of the Bosquet garden for the traditional Povençal mass on Ascension Day. A mass pronounced by the Bishop of Nîmes, Nicolas Brouwet, in the presence of the Beaucair association Soie et velvet d’Argence, the mayor, Max Roustan, his first deputy, Christophe Rivenq, the deputy for the 4th constituency, Pierre Meurin , kneeling during the consecration, and Miss Alès and her two dauphines. At the end of mass, the bishop blessed the horses of the horsemen in the abrivado competition, which begins at 11:30 a.m. on avenue Carnot.
