Bryan is a candidate who had a profound impact on this anniversary season of Top chef. He stood out for his modern cuisine, but also for his extravagant personality. His humor and his “beef” attitude brought a real touch of lightness to the competition. Probably very appreciated by the jury, other candidates and viewers, he ended up bowing this Wednesday during the eighth week of the competition. Bryan left the adventure following the second test of the eighth episode. This was proposed by Yannick Alléno, multi-starred chef. The latter had asked the candidates to prepare a dish around the “best of the best“. Despite a great achievement, he was unable to fully assert himself in front of the jury. He thus finished in last place. An elimination which greatly affected the cook: “I am very happy with my journey“, he confided in front of the camera. His departure greatly affected his brigade teammates but also his adversaries and the members of the jury: “I felt like I had aroused the curiosity and, in a way, the respect of my peers. The candidates I was with were full of praise for me.“, he assured us.

Bryan was very popular with the other candidates, especially Jorick. For good reason, the two talents already knew each other before joining the competition: “We had the same apprentice master in Bordeaux. I worked with him at the NE/SO restaurant“, Bryan admitted to us before complimenting his friend: “When I arrived at the establishment, he was second and I was clerk. He promoted me to head of the party. He is one of the figures who helped me learn and understand the study of cooking“. A beautiful relationship which has therefore come back to life through Top chef : “I didn’t know he was doing the competition, and he wasn’t aware of my inclusion in the competition either.. It was when we met in front of the hotel to go to the studio that I saw him. It was strange to see him on the first day of filming, but it didn’t shock me either. We knew we were going to experience a new adventure together. It was funny“, he concluded. If Jorick is still in the official competition, he does not know that his friend Bryan has not left the ship either and that he is now part of The Hidden Brigade.
