As with each edition, access to the Xavier-Trellu stadium in Douarnenez will be free during the Mondial Pupilles, from Thursday May 9 to Saturday May 11. Sixty volunteers will be mobilized at the Douarneniste center to ensure the smooth running of the event. “And 54 families in the area welcome the young people and their supervisors,” explains Christian Couic, secretary of the local committee. In total, 28 matches of 20 minutes (two halves of ten minutes) will take place on the lawn of the Xavier-Trellu stadium during the three days of competition. Eleven matches will be played during the inaugural day, this Thursday, May 9. Stade Rennais, one of the flagship clubs of the competition, will face the Italians of ASD Aygreville Calcio in the first match, this Thursday at 10:30 a.m. The Douarnenez-Porzay Selection will begin its tournament at 11:30 a.m. against the young people of Rodez Aveyron Football, a professional club whose senior team plays in Ligue 2. The other clubs which will play in the Douarneniste center are the Stade Malherbe de Caen, the FC Lannion, the Val Yerres Crosne Association Football, and the Upper Saint-Charles (Canada).
