On the night of Tuesday May 7 to Wednesday May 8, 2024, around 1 a.m., witnesses reported a man on the ground, in Pont-Croix, in Finistère. Despite the care provided by the emergency services involved, the man, aged around forty years old according to information from the gendarmerie, died. At the scene of the tragedy, the gendarmes, the firefighters of Cap Sizun (Finistère) and the SMUR were engaged. They observed an immobilized scooter with signs of shifting on the bodywork. The victim lived in the town. An investigation is open to determine the circumstances of this accident.
