“I have always loved outdoor films, like others who have Netflix evenings,” explains Fabien Maurin. The goal is to inspire people to go on adventures, with running films, but also hiking, climbing, bikepackingof paddleboard, etc. »

How are Trail Ciné Club films selected?

“I try to vary the activities, the sports,” he answers. To have a good balance between performance films with professionals or great champions, but also documentaries with “normal” people, amateurs.”

And to add: “I also try to vary the formats, to have as many men as women. In addition, of course, to offering aesthetically beautiful films, with a good story well told. »

In each newsletter, Fabien Maurin also offers a description and summary of the films, “written by my hand to make you want to”. “The feedback from the community has been very good and some have even made me film suggestions. »
