Day 3 of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship concluded with LIV star Tyrrell Hatton firing a course-record 11-under 61 at St Andrews. He now holds a 54-hole, one-stroke lead over Nicolas Colsaerts heading into the Sunday finale.

The 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship featured 14 LIV golfers, the most in any DP World Tour event in recent times. Eight of them, including Hatton, David Puig, Jon Rahm, and Peter Uihlein, made it to the final round, while six missed the cutline of 9-under.

1) Talor Gooch

Talor Gooch carded a 67 in both the opening and third rounds. However, a second-round 74 cost him the cut at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. He finished at 8-under after shooting a 5-under 67 on Saturday, October 5.


2) Caleb Surratt

Caleb Surratt faced a similar fate as Gooch, also missing the cut at St Andrews by one stroke. He started well with a 5-under 67 in the opening round, but followed it with a 77 on Day 2. Despite firing a low 64 in the third round, he still fell short of the cutline.


3) Eugenio Chacarra

Eugenio Chacarra failed to make the cut despite shooting the best round of the week on Thursday. He shot a 68 on Saturday after carding 73 and 71 in the first two rounds.


4) Louis Oosthuizen

Louis Oosthuizen shot a 2-over 74 in the third round of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, finishing at 1-under after 54 holes.


5) Hudson Swafford

Hudson Swafford had a poor start at St Andrews, shooting a 77 in the opening round. His second and third rounds were marginally better, with scores of 73 and 71, but it wasn’t enough to make the cut. He finished at 5-over after three rounds and was the worst performer among the Saudi-backed circuit golfers.
