Reggie Miller returns to Madison Square Garden this evening, as a commentator!

Here is a distinguished guest. Reggie Miller, Pacers legend and best enemy of the Knicks during nearly a decade of Playoffs, will be in New York tonight for Game 2 between the Bockers and Indiana. While he expects a “warm” reception from the local public, he says he is concentrating on his mission as an analyst.

In 1995, a year after sending his legendary choke sign in the direction of Spike Lee after scoring 25 points in the last quarter of Game 5 won by Indiana in New York, Reggie Miller repeated the feat by adding a dose of legend. 8 points scored in 8.9 seconds, the Knicks knocked down again and above all humiliated.

29 years later, Reggie Miller will return to the Garden this evening. As an analyst for TNT, which broadcasts the match nationally. Happy to be invited to such a match between Knicks and Pacers, he did not fail to joke about it, on the Dan Patrick Show this Monday.

“Just know that the Boogeyman is back in town to commentate on the match! I’m back.” –Reggie Miller

Of course, his job will not be to go and castrate Spike Lee or other overly talkative fans, but to assist the TNT team by providing live analysis of the match. A consulting job that Miller will appreciate, even if he expects a… tough reception.

“I’m sure I’ll hear the chants, I’m sure I’ll hear all the bad words, but I’m OK with that. I am here to do my mission, to comment on a match. I’m sure it’s going to be a great series.” –Reggie Miller

See you at 2 a.m. for the kickoff of Game 2 between Knicks and Pacers!
