Saturday October 5, around 9:30 p.m., the fire started in an apartment on rue Frédéric-Chopin, on the first floor of a building located in Sautron, in the northwest of the metropolis. Using a hose, twenty firefighters extinguished the fire, located in the kitchen. The two occupants of the accommodation were not injured.
Along with all the residents of this small two-story collective, they were evacuated while the firefighters intervened. The two occupants were relocated by relatives in the evening. Their dog, who was on the terrace of the apartment, was saved by firefighters.

During the intervention, the apartment below was also damaged due to a ruptured water pipe in the one which had just been affected by the fire.

A fire the same night in Bouguenais

That same night, in the south of the metropolis, another cooking fire once again mobilized twenty firefighters. It was 3:30 a.m. when the fire broke out in a house on rue de la Pierre, in Bouguenais. Firefighters put it out using a hose.

There was nothing they could do to save the two cats in the house. The owner, safe and sound, was relocated by neighbors.
