The black streak continues on the Landes roads. 24 hours after the death of two sixty-year-olds in Pouydesseaux, a 6-year-old girl died in a violent collision between two cars in the town of Habas, this Tuesday, May 7, in the middle of the afternoon.
A woman in absolute emergency
According to our information, there was a 46-year-old driver in the first vehicle accompanied by a 6-year-old girl. The latter was in cardiorespiratory arrest when emergency services arrived. Despite several resuscitation attempts, she was unfortunately declared dead on the spot by a Smur doctor. The forty-year-old was evacuated as an absolute emergency to the Dax hospital center.
Two men slightly injured
In the second car, two men aged 36 and 43 were slightly injured and treated in relative emergency. The Ecu 64 helicopter from the gendarmerie was on the scene along with around twenty firefighters.
Departmental road 817 was closed for more than two hours while emergency services intervened. In addition, Jean-François Lataste, the mayor of the town, also traveled to the scene of the tragedy.
