Mbaye Niang still involved in an impressive accident

Senegalese striker Mbaye Niang was involved in a car accident on Monday, we learned from the Italian press.

Monday evening, the center forward of Empoli (17th and first non-relegation in Serie A with three days remaining), Mbaye Niang (29 years old, 12 matches, 4 goals and assist), was the protagonist of a road accident in Florence, Tuscany
(Italy). According to information from Prima Firenzethe Mercedes car in which the player and another person were traveling collided with several stationary vehicles: a van, then a car with a driver behind the wheel, before ending its course against the wall of a parish building and a fourth car.

A “multiple offender”

The main parties involved escaped unscathed, according to several transalpine media. However, no information has filtered out on which of the two men was driving. In any case, the former great hope of French football (U21 international three times) should be available for Sunday’s match against Lazio (day 36).

Mbaye Niang is not at his first escapade this year. On February 20, his SUV had already hit two parked cars without causing any injuries, still in Empoli. Earlier in his career, while playing in Montpellier (2014), he was given a three-month suspended prison sentence after a spectacular off-road accident that saw his Ferrari crash into a tree. In 2016, at AC Milan, he hit two cars parked on the side of a road. This time, he had to be away from the field for two months. In short, between Mbaye Niang and cars, it’s not always mad love.
