Being a mother is only beautiful in name. Indeed, perinatal mourning is never easy to live with or accept. However, these are close to 7,000 families who have to experience it every year. Approximately 1% of births do not go as planned. This gives rise to papanges and Mamanges. These, supposed to be parents of a baby, are parents of a little angel instead. This term describes all fathers and mothers who have given birth to a dead child, from 22 weeks of amenorrhea, or who have experienced the death of their newborn in the first seven days of its existence. Tragicthis fate affects many people, like this 22-year-old young woman, Cora Bryant.

Momage in spite of herself

Cora Bryant had widely shared her weeks of pregnancy on the networks. Over the months, Internet users have seen her belly rounded and preparations move forward to welcome baby. Moreover, this one even already had a first name: Weylyn. Unfortunately, a few days before her due date, the young mother gave birth to a stillborn. HAS 37 weeks pregnant, she suffered this emotional shock from which it is difficult to recover. She replaced her baby to cope with this grief

Faced with this moment in her life which turns out to be more difficult than one might think, the mother uses “the means at hand” to survive. In fact, she uses a weighted teddy bear, which weighs the same than her baby. Cora Bryant carries the plush toy in a baby carrier, to reassure herself when she cannot cope with Weylyn’s physical absence.

This is a unique way to honor my son and fill a void in my heart. Grief is weird and we do weird things when we’re grieving.

In fact, when she feels that she is not going to be able to stop her tearsthe young woman turns to the teddy bear.

It regulates my nervous system so much that I no longer cry.
