The question comes up repeatedly: on the construction sites of the Olympic works, great efforts have certainly been made in terms of integration for a public far from employment, but for the beneficiaries, once these periods are over, what are the consequences? ? Some answers should be available this fall following an investigation carried out by the Olympic Works Delivery Company (Solideo).

“At the request of the State, we are now carrying out a survey, the results of which will be available in the fall, to see what happens to those who have been integrated afterwards: does this lead to regular employment in the building or in security? Does this lead to training? Or does this lead to nothing? »explained Nicolas Ferrand, the general director of Solideo, Tuesday May 7 to the deputies of the working group on the preparation of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

“This question, which was not in our initial roadmap, the government asked us to work on it with INSEE”, he added, after detailing the results, to date, of this integration program. As of April 15, 2.934 million hours were worked in the construction trades, but also in security, when the objective initially set was to reach 2.47 million hours.

4,080 people have benefited from this program, including 1,997 residing in Seine-Saint-Denis. 24.8% are under 25 years old and 45.3% are long-term job seekers.
