The recovery deadline was set for May 6 at 12 p.m. and no offer was received by the receivers for the Amiens factory, the only one in Europe which produces lysine.

The Avril group is considering a takeover of Metex

The deadline was therefore extended to May 27 “in order to allow potential buyers to position themselves” we learn from a press release from the group which mentions that “this deadline will notably allow the group April, an industrial and financial player in the vegetable oils and proteins sector, to continue, as requested, the study of a project to take over the activities of METEX NØØVISTAGO and part of the R&D activity of METabolic EXPlorer. » The project is nevertheless conditional on the intervention of one or more public partners of Avril. For the other entity of the group, that is to say the Carling factory in Moselle, specialized in functional ingredients for the cosmetics, nutrition and materials markets, the Paris commercial court received on April 6 two takeover offers: that of the Belgian (French-speaking) startup Maash, invested in myco-proteins, and that of a Canadian investor Malik Bachouchi, for a symbolic euro, our colleagues from Agra Business remind us.
