Matin
The cool weather is marked with heavy dew and frost on lawns and car windshields in countryside areas. Fog patches form locally over central regions. The atmosphere is therefore autumnal but the sun shines through, a little veiled in the west. The mistral and tramontane are significantly weaker than the day before.
Minimum temperatures under cover are generally 5 to 10°C in cities, 10 to 12°C around the Mediterranean, and sometimes close to 0°C in the countryside of central regions.
Afternoon
The weather is beautiful with sunshine in an often blue sky. Clouds are still circulating in the east, but are quite discreet. In the west, the sky is clouding over and the south wind is picking up especially in Brittany, where rain will arrive in Finistère around 5 p.m.
Temperatures are rising slightly and are generally 15 to 17°C, with 20 to 22°C in the southeast.
Soirée
The Breton rains are progressing towards the Pays de la Loire and Lower Normandy with wind. Everywhere else, the weather remains dry with a less marked drop in temperatures.
Further trend
Confirmation of generally grayer weather on Sunday with scattered rain in the west, but it will be milder. From Monday onwards, the weather looks set to be very unsettled, particularly in the south-east initially with heavy rain then Thursday with a risk of gale in connection with the expected passage of l’ex ouragan Kirk on the British Isles.
