The writer and director Pierre Notte was indicted following a complaint filed in 2021 for rape of a minor.

The writer and director Pierre Notte, accused of rape of minors, was indicted, according to information from Libération, this Monday, May 6. A complaint was filed against him in 2021 by one of his former students, who recounts to our colleagues years of “subjugation dominated by fear”.

Pierre Notte, who was notably secretary general at the Comédie-Française from 2006 to 2009, was heard for the first time on Wednesday April 24 by an officer of the judicial police.

Pierre Note evokes a “love story”

A confrontation with the complainant, now aged 37, took place immediately. At the end of this, Pierre Notte was presented to an investigating judge who indicted him with a civil action for rape of a minor committed by a person abusing the authority given to him by his position. . He is currently placed under judicial supervision.

In an email sent to Libération, Pierre Note said he lived with the complainant “a love story which, in recent months, weakened and disintegrated”, between 2007 and 2011. He said he was “devastated by the situation”.
