We are now talking about “Gen Global” Or “globalized generation”. “Today’s young workers have bold opinions and global aspirations”and loudly proclaim what they expect from their employers on social networks, explains Fast Companywho notes that employers struggle to stay ahead of the curve”.

According to a study carried out by the American HR consulting firm Globalization Partners, 85% of workers under the age of 27 believe that multinationals offer them more opportunities in terms of career development. The “globalized generation” also believes that they offer more salary and social benefits and more inclusive and diverse environments. The same group would also seek 75%, according to the FlexJobs site, geographical flexibility for work.

Employers seem to be on the same page since “approximately 66% of executives say having employees in multiple countries is part of their business strategy and 28% say it is essential for the future of their company”. And thanks to technology and remote working, it’s never been easier.

“We are fortunate to live in an age where individuals are not limited by their geographic location, and where businesses and employees can benefit from what technology has made possible. Today, the ‘global generation’ can succeed and shape their careers in new ways, and we will all benefit,” gets excited Fast Company.
