An accident involving a truck and a car towing a trailer containing beehives occurred this morning on the A7 motorway, between Sénas and Cavaillon, towards Lyon. The highway was cut and a compulsory exit was put in place at Sénas. The VINCI Autoroutes teams and beekeepers mobilized to restore traffic as quickly as possible.
VINCI Autoroutes teams, breakdown repairers and beekeepers quickly intervened on site to put the bees to sleep and then evacuate the vehicles. After their intervention, traffic was restored on 2 lanes around 11 a.m. In the direction of Lyon, a compulsory exit had been put in place at Sénas and entry had been prohibited for the duration of the intervention.
