Youssef En-Nesyri enters a little more into the history of Sevilla FC. Thanks to the goal scored this weekend against Granada, the Moroccan international joined the top 10 best scorers in the history of Sevilla FC.
Very fit this season, En-Nesyri scored a new goal on Sunday in Sevilla FC’s victory against Granada (3-0). In a match counting for the 34th day of La Liga, the 26-year-old striker doubled the lead in the 51st minute on a pass from Ocampos.
This achievement allows the Moroccan striker to bring his total goals to 70 since his arrival in Seville and becomes, tied with Ben Yedder, the 10th top scorer for the Andalusian club.
Thanks to this goal, En-Nesyri also climbs to ninth place in the La Liga goalscoring rankings with 13 goals alongside Griezmann and Vinicius Junior.
Due to his number of goals, his performances, his contract which ends in 2025 and his age (26), En-Nesyri is one of the big attractions of this transfer.
The striker himself admitted a few days ago, in an interview with MARCA, that he was not thinking too much about his future, but that he just wanted to finish “with his head held high”. Further proof of the high probability that he will leave the Spanish team this summer.
