This Thursday, October 3, season 4 of HPI comes to an end on TF1. After an entire season of wondering who the father of Morgane Alvaro’s baby is, another question is already on everyone’s lips: is a season 5 planned for the hit series? Interviewed by Télé-Loisirs, Audrey Fleurot agreed to answer it and showed a certain frankness.
It’s already been four seasons since Audrey Fleurot played the role of Morgane Alvaro in “HPI”the sensational series from TF1. The adventure began in 2021 and the fourth season resumed last September. This Thursday, October 3, at 9:10 p.m., the front page program returns for the season finale during which a question was on everyone’s lips: Who is the father of Morgane’s baby? How will Morgane tell Karadec that she may be pregnant by him? What if it wasn’t him? What if it was Timothée, the ex-brigadier? Or even Doudou Masta, the former convict? So many questions for this extraordinary cleaning lady, mother who became a consultant for the police. With this season 4 coming to an end, fans are already wondering if the series will return for a new season.
Interviewed by our colleagues from Tele-LeisureAudrey Fleurot confided: “It was a very difficult decision to take, she confessesthat’s why I announced it quite early, to prepare for it myself. If I listened to myself, I would still have fun with Morgane for a while, but she is not a character created to last. Every year, we wonder how we will be able to improve further without resting on our laurels. It’s a chance, but it requires a lot of energy. Every time, I feel like I’m losing five years of my life.”The red-haired actress added about the development avenues of HPI : “C’is an extraordinary character and I don’t want an expected ending. Do we want him to end up as a couple with Karadec and join the police? Me, no. Family is a concept that takes a thousand and one forms today and Morgane must invent one that no one expects. It’s a real challenge, we’re deep in thought.”. What if it was possible to come back for special episodes? An idea which does not necessarily displease Audrey Fleurot who replied that “why not” more “provided to find the right story. It shouldn’t just be to please us.”
HPI incompatible with the role of Audrey Fleurot’s mother?
In another interview given to ParisianAudrey Fleurot has, this time, confided in the difficulty of managing, sometimes, her life as an actress and her role as a mother. Lou’s mother, fruit of her love affair with director Djibril Glissant, admitted: “It’s very complicatedespecially with school: an absent dad is normal because he’s the one who brings in the money. Not a mother. And it’s very annoying when this speech is given by women. I see that my son is very balanced. I’m there every weekend and I try to compensate with special one-on-one time.” Then to conclude : “I don’t intend to chooseI love working, I dreamed of doing this job too much to do without it. There’s nothing a dad can’t do… even if he won’t do it as well, we agree“.
