The eight matches of this 4e day offer oppositions of great interest. The 16 teams, whatever their ranking, are looking for points to reassure themselves at the start of the season.
We have teams who have won three matches, others who have lost all three, and in between, a contingent of clubs placed in the middle of the table. The first days of a long championship of 16 teams say nothing about who will win or who will fall back, but we have an idea of the terrain of the future course. Those who will play for the title emerge after 5 to 7 days, without being sure of winning, and those who will fight to maintain it are already known even before the start of the season. Today is already decisive for the CA, for example, which has had three successes and which receives an ES Zarzis who has also won three times. A duel of leaders which has repercussions on their future. This duel will be closely followed by an OB, also having made an excellent start and who intends to confirm it by receiving a revelation from the championship, the JS Omrane.
These two matches also interest the EST which travels to Métlaoui to bring back the three points while hoping for a draw between the CA and the ESZ and a misstep from the OB to regain the leadership.
Also to follow is the CSS, disappointing for its public, which receives EGS Gafsa in a redemption match. Will the Gafsians, very fragile and tormented, resist a CSS which will use all its resources to glean the three points? As for USM, a team that is still as firm and consistent despite the changes each season, it has the possibility of grabbing three more points by receiving a disoriented USBG and beaten three times. The locals have everything they need to win and forget the semi-failure of the last day. The ESS, for its part, will be in a test of truth by playing AS Soliman, a team which needs so many points to revive. Also to follow is the classic ST-CAB, a remake of the last Tunisian Cup final.
